What Happened

Enquiring minds want to know:
How come I haven't updated my blog in forever because i have misplaced my computer hook up to download the pictures to my computer. It has been the most frustrating event that has happened in awhile! If you have any ideas of where it might be PLEASE let me know.

Home Sweet Home

These are just a few pictures of our new townhouse. I know it seems small, but it is the perfect size for two + one (not anytime soon). It has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. It is located in north Seattle and just minutes away from downtown Seattle, which is something that we both love. We are also a couple miles away from Greenlake, an amazing little park. I am also not too close to mom and dad, where i would be at their house all the time needing to be entertained, but I am just close enough where I can have a couple hours to hang out with her or having Aaron and I come down for a fun little weekend, but I have to say that probably the best part of the whole new house, is that we will be mere exits away from Dave and Jen! I plan on having many double dates, hopefully before her new little baby comes. I am excited to fill our house with furniture and being able to do a little decorating. I can't wait to share this new place with Aaron and being able to make it our home together.

Here Comes The Sun

Eatlier this week, Aaron and I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather, so we went to Gasworks Park in Seattle. It was so nice outside and the views of Seattle were amazing! It was a little bit cold, but we didn't notice:)

Rules Of Engagement

As you can tell from the title of this blog, I am now officially engaged! We are both super excited and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Aaron. If you hadn't heard the story yet, I'm just going to do a quick recap:

On Thursday the 24th of January, Aaron came to pick me up early from work to take me to dinner. We started to drive to the airport and I started to become suspicious. He than said, "Don't be mad, but we're going on a trip and I am not going to tell you where. I have packed you a suitcase and our flight leaves in an hour". He didn't tell me where we were going until we got to the gate. We flew to Salt Lake City and he said we had reservations for dinner at 9:30. He drove us somewhere in the mountains and said that maybe he took the wrong turn and we were lost(which happens quite a bit with us). We happened to end up somewhere near the mountains. It was the 'This is The Place Monument', and we climbed up the monument at night in 20 degree weather,it was so freezing! As we looked out over the Salt Lake Valley he said, " When Brigham Young looked out over this desolate valley, he saw such a great future and potential and that is how I see us. I see such a great future with you and we have so much potential to make a happy marriage if we work at it". Than we looked over at the mountains and he added," With every mountain, there are low points called valleys. With every low or hard time we go through we have to remember and enjoy our high and fun times". And than we got down on one knee and said," Michelle, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me"? And of course i said yes!

The next day Aaron paid for me to go to a spa and get a 70 minute pedicure and a 60 minute massage. It was so nice and it was much needed. We stayed with friends that we hung out with in Arizona last year. It was so much fun and i am so excited to start planning and getting this show on the road. If you have any marriage advice or wedding reception/dinner advice; let me know.

California Dreamin'

This past weeeknd I was able to spend some time with Aaron and his family in San Francisco. I was so nervous to meet the rest of his family, but they were so sweet and I had a lot of fun. Aaron and I went to The Nutcracker saturday afternoon. We had great seats and Aaron stayed awake the whole time, I was way impressed. On New Years Eve, we took Aaron's neices to the Oakland Zoo. We saw all kinds of cool animals and it was neat for Aaron and I to play parents for an afternoon. It was busy and we were way exhausted after the outing, so it was nice to be able to hand them off to their mom. We stayed up almost every night and played games, which was fun. We played Blokus, spped scrabbel, scattergories, and i got a little peek into the intense game of Rook. I didn't play , but i shadowed Aaron. I think i may need some practice, but the next time I see them, they will be impressed.
I had so much fun with Aaron and his family and I hope that all of you can meet them sometime soon :)

Home For The Holidays

Wow, what a great christmas! It was so amazing to have everyone home for the holidays. We did so many fun things: Gingerbread houses, my birthday, bowling. my birthday, watching movies, my birthday, playing games, my birthday, and just being together. I had a great birthday, despite the sickness of my mother. I really had no idea how much she keeps the family glued together. She wasn't there to baby me on my birthday, so dad stepped up and did a great job. It will stand as one of the best birthdays I have ever had. Thanks dad! I would also like to say thanks for those who kept hearing me say, " I don't want to get sick", or " Are the germs dead?" Thanks for putting up with that. Sorry dad, You have daughters with O.C.D. and a daughter that is a hypochondriac, but hey, It could be worse. Thanks mom and dad for the best Christmas ever!! I love you guys!
